GoDaddy: Kickin' Like Van Damme!

As a marketing student, I try to look at all angles.  Marketing a product everyone should use, but is hard to communicate is a difficult task.  I ask myself, "what if that were my client?" Would I turn it down or accept the challenge?

TO BE IN ADVERTISING (or visual sales) YOU HAVE TO BE A LITTLE CRAY CRAY AND THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX.  CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

Deutsch of New York did an AMAZING job at re-calibrating the GoDaddy marketing model.  GoDaddy.com's Senior VP and Chief Marketing Officer, Barb Rechterman, had this to say about going with Deutsch:

"We decided we wanted a fresh look at it. Deutsch understood our brand. They understood we needed to pay homage to the past, and we needed to shift more about we do."

I previously had NO IDEA (shame on me) that A WOMAN signed off on so many sexually charged ads.  Kudos to Deutsch and GoDaddy for making a change when needed and creating a hilarious new campaign, "It's Go Time."  Check it out below:
